What it is: Asli Omur is a journalist, writer, and contributor to the popular online Blog Likehack. In this post, she acknowledges that stress can be good for us. Read her practice the 10 steps she lists in the post to change the way you deal with stress.
Why we love it: If you are feeling overwhelmed by the stress in your life, you are probably like most of us; you want to crawl back into bed, grab a glass of wine, turn on the TV to drown out the noise in your mind, or maybe all three. Instead of falling back on your old habits, try practicing the 10 ways explained in this post. You may not be able to do all 10 of them at first. Try a couple at a time. Post the steps over your desk, and in your home. Next time you start to feel that choking feeling of being stressed out, read the steps again.
